[News Culture] Marvel Studios is bringing two of its biggest stars and its president to South Korea ahead of the release of Avengers: Doomsday.
Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Kevin Feige will arrive in Seoul on December 7 for a series of promotional events, including a press conference and red-carpet appearance.
The trip marks Evans' first visit to Korea for a Marvel project since the 2015 promotional tour for Avengers: Age of Ultron. The actor spent nearly a decade playing Steve Rogers, the original Captain America, beginning with Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011 and concluding his original run with Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
Hemsworth, who has played Thor since 2011, will be promoting a Marvel film in South Korea for the first time. He is no stranger to the country, however, having visited in 2025 to film the second season of his Disney+ documentary series Limitless.
Feige's attendance adds another major name to the visit. As president of Marvel Studios, he has overseen the Marvel Cinematic Universe since its launch with Iron Man in 2008, guiding the franchise through some of Hollywood's biggest box-office successes.
The December 7 events will bring the two longtime MCU stars together with the executive behind the franchise as Marvel prepares for its next major theatrical release. Additional details about the Seoul appearances have not yet been announced.
Avengers: Doomsday will introduce Doctor Doom as a major threat, bringing Marvel's heroes together for another high-stakes confrontation.
The film is scheduled to open in South Korean theaters on December 16.
