[News Culture] The 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) has finalized its two-day artist lineup, dividing this year’s ceremony into an “Artist Day” and a “Music Day” at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on Nov. 7 and 8.
The KGMA organizing committee announced the daily roster on Sept. 22, bringing together previously revealed performers under separate programming concepts designed to span K-pop, bands, trot and emerging acts.
The opening night on Nov. 7, billed as “Artist Day,” will feature a broad mix of performers across genres and generations.
TREASURE and RESCENE are among the K-pop acts on the bill, joined by DAY6’s Young K, trot singer Jang Min-ho and band LUCY. ALLDAY PROJECT, P1Harmony and FIFTY FIFTY will also perform as part of a lineup weighted toward both established names and artists expanding their international reach.
“Music Day” on Nov. 8 shifts the focus toward acts with major global fan bases alongside newer artists gaining momentum.
ATEEZ and RIIZE will take the stage, while SHINee’s MINHO and MONSTA X unit SHOWNU X HYUNGWON add veteran presence to the second-night lineup. ITZY, KISS OF LIFE and band TOUCHED are also scheduled to perform.
Rather than grouping the acts under a single programming format, this year’s KGMA is using the two themes to distinguish the character of each night while maintaining a lineup that reaches beyond conventional K-pop idol performances.
The third KGMA will be hosted by Nam Ji-hyun and RESCENE’s WONI on Nov. 7, followed by Kim Jae-won and IVE’s LIZ on Nov. 8. The ceremony will also feature 39 award presenters, including Lee Jun-ho and Go Youn-jung.
The event will be broadcast live on ENA, with a global livestream also planned via TikTok.
