[News Culture] Stray Kids opened their new world tour with five concerts at Seoul’s KSPO Dome, turning the arena into a sweeping retrospective of their eight-year career while setting the tone for what comes next.
The group performed on July 25, 26 and 29 and Aug. 1 and 2 as part of “Stray Kids World Tour ‘RUN IT.’” The run stretched across two weeks, including a weekday show, and drew sustained cheers from STAY throughout.
A 59-meter panoramic LED screen, elevated walkways and a live band gave the production both scale and momentum. The staging was built for constant movement, matching the group’s high-intensity performance style without losing the raw edge of the music.
Stray Kids began with “Hall of Fame,” framing the concert as both a look back at the path they have taken and a declaration of where they intend to go next.
The setlist moved freely across their catalog. “Hellevator” flowed into debut track “District 9,” while a mashup of “MIROH,” “Levanter” and “I am YOU” recast key moments from the group’s rise through a more mature live lens.
Several signature tracks received new arrangements. “God’s Menu” was amplified by a percussion-heavy performance, “Thunderous” incorporated traditional Korean props, and “LALALALA” returned in an EDM and hip-hop remix that pushed the arena energy even higher.
The group also premiered performances of “I Do” and “After You,” both from its upcoming release, alongside pre-release track “RUN IT.”
“We wanted to put on a show powerful enough to cut through the summer heat,” the members said after the concert. “We prepared for a long time with the goal of making this our best show yet. Seeing everyone enjoy it so fully gave us the energy to keep moving forward.”
They added that the concert felt especially meaningful because it captured the road Stray Kids has traveled since debut.
“You have always helped us find our direction, and thanks to you, we were able to begin this tour in the best possible way,” they said. “Please look forward to ‘THIS & THAT,’ an album that shows just how many different things Stray Kids can do.”
Stray Kids will release the new mini album “THIS & THAT” on Aug. 7 before continuing the tour across the global stage.
