[News Culture] TXT’s Yeonjun has taken “Ice Cream” back to a place closely tied to his beginnings, filming the song’s performance video on the same streets where he once trained and dreamed of becoming an artist.
BIGHIT MUSIC released the video Wednesday night through TXT’s official YouTube channel. “Ice Cream” is the lead single from Yeonjun’s second mini album, “NO LABELS: PART 02.”
Shot outdoors before dawn, the video trades a polished studio backdrop for neon-lit streets and empty sidewalks. The stripped-back setting lets Yeonjun’s movement carry the performance, capturing the relaxed control and raw energy that have made him one of K-pop’s most closely watched dancers.
The location adds another layer to the video. Seohyeon Station’s Rodeo Street in Bundang, Seongnam, is where Yeonjun attended dance classes before his debut. It is also where he once performed a cover of BTS’ “RUN” while still chasing his goal of becoming an idol.
Returning there as an established performer gives the clip a sense of reflection without turning it nostalgic. The focus remains on the present: Yeonjun dancing with the confidence of someone who has built a career from the same drive he had years earlier.
The video also shows a different side from the lighthearted short-form challenge he recently filmed with actor Park Ji-hwan. That collaboration leaned into humor, while “Ice Cream” strips away the jokes and puts his commitment to dance front and center.
The release arrives as Yeonjun prepares for his next major international appearance. He will take the stage alone at “Billboard: One Night Only,” a special live event scheduled for Aug. 12 in Los Angeles.
