Tom Holland's Spider-Man is heading back to theaters this summer.
Sony Pictures has confirmed that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will open in South Korea on July 29, giving local audiences an opportunity to see the film ahead of its North American release.
The latest installment marks the first Spider-Man film in five years following the blockbuster success of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
The Spider-Man franchise has been one of the strongest-performing Hollywood series in South Korea. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) drew 7.25 million admissions, followed by Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) with 8.02 million and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) with 7.55 million. Combined, the three films attracted more than 22.82 million moviegoers nationwide.
Sony Pictures also unveiled a new special dive poster alongside the release announcement. The artwork features Spider-Man plunging through the heart of a cityscape, highlighting the large-scale action and aerial spectacle that have become hallmarks of the franchise.
The new poster offers a glimpse of the high-flying action audiences can expect when Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters this summer.
