Disney+ original series Goldland is preparing for its highly anticipated finale, promising a brutal showdown fueled by greed, distrust and desperation. As the battle for 150 billion won worth of gold bars reaches its conclusion, no outcome appears predictable.
Episodes 9 and 10, released on May 27, bring the story’s long-simmering desires and fractured relationships to their breaking point. Characters who have spent the entire series deceiving and manipulating one another in pursuit of the gold now face a final question: the treasure or their lives.
With weapons pointed at one another until the very end, the remaining players are expected to deliver an intense and unpredictable confrontation.
Newly released stills reveal Hee-joo (Park Bo-young) covered in blood and visibly battered, reflecting the violent struggle that continues to escalate around her. Her fierce expression hints at a character willing to push forward regardless of the cost.
Standing opposite her is Director Park, whose cold gaze and weapon in hand suggest that both characters have been consumed entirely by their obsession. Their tense standoff signals that neither side is willing to back down as the race for the gold enters its final stage.
Additional images also reveal Woo-gi (Kim Sung-cheol) and Jin-man (Kim Hee-won) arriving in an effort to save Hee-joo. Their appearance raises new questions about how the final battle will unfold and who will ultimately survive the conflict.
The production team commented, “In the final episodes, every desire and relationship surrounding the gold bars explodes, pushing the story toward an irreversible conclusion.”
They added, “The characters who have lied to and used one another in pursuit of the fortune will finally collide in the most dangerous way possible. Please stay with us until the very end to discover who ultimately claims the gold and what fate awaits them.”
With greed consuming every remaining alliance, Goldland heads into its final chapter with the promise of a conclusion as ruthless as the journey that came before.
