aespa has offered a deeper look into the world of its upcoming second full-length album “LEMONADE,” unveiling a highlight medley that blends futuristic visuals, confident messaging, and an ambitious musical scale.
On May 25, SM Entertainment released the highlight medley through its official channels ahead of the album’s release.
The newly revealed video centers on a blender motif, with each activation triggering neon cyber-inspired visuals that correspond to the mood of individual tracks. Built around the optimistic idea that “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” the medley showcases the album’s overarching concept while introducing its dual title tracks: “LEMONADE” and the pre-release song “WDA (Whole Different Animal),” which features G-DRAGON.
Additional tracks such as “SHAKIN’,” which carries a message of shaking up the world, and “Switchblade,” featuring Ty Dolla Sign, reinforce the album’s dynamic identity. Together, the 11-track collection highlights aespa’s vocal versatility while connecting seamlessly to the project’s visual and thematic direction.
The highlight medley also expands on the striking black-and-neon-green visual transformation introduced during the album rollout. The project continues the narrative evolution established through Season 1’s “KWANGYA” universe and Season 2’s “Real World,” presenting a new chapter centered on resilience, self-determination, and transforming challenges into opportunities.
What began in KWANGYA and expanded into the Real World now moves into a new phase, one defined by confidence, adaptability, and a willingness to turn adversity into possibility. Through both its music and visual storytelling, aespa signals the start of another ambitious era.
Meanwhile, aespa will officially release “LEMONADE” on May 29. The group will also launch the pop-up store “aespa WEEK – MAKE IT LEMONADE” before kicking off its new world tour, “SYNK : COMPLaeXITY,” beginning August 7–8 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
