Gong Myoung’s feelings for Shin Hye-sun finally exploded into an all-out confession.
Episode 6 of the tvN weekend drama 'Filing for Love,' which aired on May 10, followed the deepening relationship between Joo In-ah (Shin Hye-sun) and Noh Ki-joon (Gong Myoung) after the two began sharing each other’s hidden secrets. Noh Ki-joon’s fearless confession at the end of the episode heightened the romantic tension, while the drama surged from 5.9% to 9.4% in viewership ratings, marking a new personal best.
Joo In-ah was shocked to learn that Noh Ki-joon and Park Ah-jung (Hong Hwa-yeon) were living together and had once been lovers. Though she tried to brush it off, the revelation quickly cooled the excitement and affection she had been suppressing.
Despite the emotional turmoil, Joo In-ah and Noh Ki-joon continued their joint audit investigation. Suspicion grew after group model PK (Jang Deok-soo) remained untouched despite controversy surrounding a late-night chase-driving accident. The pair sensed preferential treatment after discovering that PK had signed a massive long-term contract without any official meeting records or email exchanges during the renewal process.
Their investigation soon uncovered a shocking twist. The person riding in PK’s passenger seat during the accident was Oh Hyun-young (Ji Soo-yeon), wife of executive vice chairman Jeon Jae-yeol (Kim Jae-wook). Oh Hyun-young attempted to bury the incident by offering a European overseas assignment to the husband of marketing team leader Han Ji-won (Oh Hye-won).
As the case intensified, so did the emotional tension between Joo In-ah and Noh Ki-joon. After witnessing Joo In-ah with Jeon Seong-yeol (Kang Sang-joon), Noh Ki-joon could no longer hide his jealousy and anxiety. He eventually confessed his feelings directly, saying, “Stop pretending not to notice. You already know I like you.”
Joo In-ah, however, refused to lower her guard. She dismissed his feelings as nothing more than curiosity and sympathy from a subordinate employee. But Noh Ki-joon stood firm, responding, “If I want to hold you, miss you, and even feel jealous, then isn’t that what liking someone means?”
The episode closed with another emotionally charged moment involving Jeon Jae-yeol and Joo In-ah. Jeon Jae-yeol pulled her into an embrace and pleaded, “Stay with me just a little longer.” At that moment, Noh Ki-joon appeared and coldly removed Jeon Jae-yeol’s hand from her arm before handing Joo In-ah the doll he had finally won. Looking at her, he quietly said, “It’s not impossible after all,” leaving viewers with a powerful cliffhanger.
