Singer Jang Min-ho completely dominated the "K-Trot Grand Awards," taking charge of hosting, performances and major awards in a night that highlighted his unrivaled presence in the trot scene.
During the May 7 broadcast of MBC ON’s "K-Trot Grand Awards," Jang Min-ho appeared as the main MC and led the ceremony with stable, polished hosting. His chemistry with co-hosts Park So-young and Jeon Yu-jin also drew attention, while his relaxed wit naturally elevated the atmosphere throughout the event.
Jang Min-ho also left a strong impact on stage. Opening the first half of the ceremony, he reinterpreted Song Chang-sik’s classic song "Whale Hunting" in his own style, immediately capturing the audience’s attention.
In the second half, he continued driving the momentum with lively commentary before performing "Sound the Pungak!" and "Eurachachacha" back-to-back. In particular, his performance of "Eurachachacha" showcased his trademark positive energy and drew explosive reactions from the crowd.
The night’s biggest highlight, however, was his award sweep. Jang Min-ho won a total of four trophies, including the grand-prize-level "K-Trot Masterpiece of the Year" and "K-Trot One Top of the Year," along with the "TOP10" award and the "Performance Award."
By succeeding both as host and award recipient, he firmly established himself as the central figure of the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Jang Min-ho recently wrapped up the Seoul finale of his solo concert tour "Good Times : 9.11MHz" to strong acclaim. He is currently continuing his activities as MC of MBN’s "Unknown Legend."
