Group BTS continues its unstoppable long-run success, dominating major Billboard charts for six consecutive weeks alongside the explosive momentum of its North American tour.
On May 6, BigHit Music cited the latest Billboard chart dated May 9, revealing that BTS’s fifth full-length album "ARIRANG" and title track "SWIM" maintained strong performances across both main and detailed charts in their sixth week since release.
In detail, "SWIM" held steady at No. 2 on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, while also ranking No. 32 on the main singles chart Hot 100. All 13 vocal tracks from the album have now remained on the global charts for six consecutive weeks, proving the album’s balanced streaming power across the board. Meanwhile, "ARIRANG" also secured No. 5 on the Billboard 200, reinforcing BTS’s firm grip on the upper ranks of major charts.
The group’s overwhelming mainstream presence is now creating a powerful synergy with its massive offline world tour success, which has drawn hundreds of thousands of concertgoers worldwide.
Notably, BTS’s 2017 track "Pied Piper," performed during the recent Tampa concert, unexpectedly re-entered Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 9. The resurgence clearly demonstrated how the tour is directly reigniting music consumption, once again highlighting the group’s far-reaching global influence.
Meanwhile, BTS recently wrapped up its Sun Bowl Stadium concerts in El Paso on May 2 and 3, drawing nearly 100,000 fans amid citywide celebrations and landmark light displays. The group will continue the tour starting May 7 at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City.
