BABYMONSTER is set to introduce a new musical direction with its upcoming mini album “CHOOM.”
On April 17, YG Entertainment released visual photos for “CHOOM” via its official blog. Following individual teasers that spotlighted each member’s charm, the newly revealed group poster adopts a mugshot concept, delivering a powerful visual impact.
The members’ intense gazes create a subtle tension, while colorful styling, distinctive hairstyles, and photogenic poses further emphasize their individuality. The first group visual already signals a strong presence, from its bold color palette to its distinctly hip atmosphere.
BABYMONSTER is scheduled to return on May 4 with its third mini album “CHOOM.” The group will then launch its second world tour starting with a Seoul concert in June, followed by stops across six Japanese cities including Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, and Osaka, before expanding to Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America.
