Jennie has been named one of TIME magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World,” underscoring her global impact as a solo artist.
According to TIME, Jennie was included in the 2026 edition of the “100 Most Influential People in the World,” announced on April 15 (local time) via its official website.
The annual TIME 100 list honors individuals for their influence, innovation, and achievements. Jennie stands as the only K-pop artist included this year, reinforcing her position as a globally recognized solo act.
Her recognition follows a series of major achievements. Her first full-length solo album “Ruby” was selected for Rolling Stone’s “The 100 Best Albums of 2025,” and she was ranked No.1 on Forbes Korea’s “Korean Idols of the Year 2025.”
Jennie also gained further attention with “Dracula (JENNIE Remix),” her collaboration with Tame Impala, which climbed back up the Billboard Hot 100 to reach a career-high No.17. The track also made history as the first by a K-pop female solo artist to top the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
In addition, “Dracula (JENNIE Remix)” earned a nomination for Song of the Summer at the 2026 American Music Awards, further highlighting her expanding global influence.
