Taeyong of NCT has successfully wrapped his first solo Asia tour following military discharge, marking a powerful return with an intensified artistic presence.
According to SM Entertainment on April 12, Taeyong concluded his tour “TY TRACK – REMASTERED” with a final performance on April 11 at IDEA LIVE ARENA in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The tour began in Seoul in January and continued through Jakarta, Yokohama, Macau, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur, spanning six cities with a total of nine performances.
Throughout the tour, Taeyong showcased his signature high-impact performances alongside a matured musical sensibility, reconnecting with fans after his military hiatus.
Stages of tracks such as “Locked And Loaded” and “Skiii” highlighted his sharp rap delivery, while performances of “TAP,” “SHALALA,” and “Virtual Insanity” emphasized his distinctive “neo” artistic identity.
In contrast, songs like “404 File Not Found,” “Mermaid,” and “Love Theory” revealed a more introspective side, reflecting his growth during the hiatus and a renewed emotional connection with fans.
Taeyong shared, “I’m happy to have completed my first solo tour. I worked hard to show a more developed side compared to my first concert in 2024, and I’m grateful for the support.”
He added, “I’m also preparing my upcoming album with full dedication. I hope for your continued interest, and I will work to meet fans more often and more closely.”
Taeyong is set to pre-release a single later this month, followed by his first full-length solo album in May, marking the beginning of his next phase as a solo artist.
