Singer Jadu returns with a new track infused with the warmth of spring. Known for her distinctive tone and consistent appeal, she takes a different approach this time, translating regional sentiment into music.
Her new song “Whirling Spring Breeze” is inspired by the spring landscapes of Goheung County in South Jeolla Province. Carried by an emotional melody and her warm vocals, the track conveys the season’s atmosphere with a natural, unforced flow. Production was led by hitmaker Rocoberry’s Ahn Young-min, enhancing the track’s sonic detail and overall polish.
The project stands out as a collaboration between a local government and an artist, positioning itself as a music-driven branding initiative. Backed by Goheung County Office and planned by Hey Enter C, it moves beyond conventional promotional formats, delivering the region’s identity through a fully realized pop track. The approach is being noted as a new model for expanding regional branding into mainstream music.
Rather than foregrounding a specific location, the song centers on capturing Goheung’s spring mood in a lyrical, understated way. As a result, it functions not just as a campaign piece but as a complete, accessible pop track that listeners can naturally engage with.
Jadu said, “It’s a warm song that fits perfectly with spring, so I sang it with even more affection. I hope it becomes music that gently resonates with many people.” Ahn Young-min added, “Expressing a region through music, along with collaborating with the artist, was meaningful in itself,” signaling anticipation for the release.
The track will be released on April 1, followed by visual content showcasing Goheung’s seasonal scenery across multiple platforms.
