BABYMONSTER has officially set its return in motion, unveiling a high-impact teaser that signals a dramatic shift in concept and energy.
On March 30, YG Entertainment released the motion teaser for the group’s third mini album 'CHOOM', confirming a May 4 comeback. The release marks their first return in approximately seven months since 'WE GO UP'.
The teaser delivers a clear visual statement. A racing car surges forward with explosive sound design, leaving behind a trajectory that forms the “CHOOM” logo. The sequence emphasizes speed, impact, and directional momentum, signaling a shift toward a more aggressive and performance-driven concept.
The new album sharpens BABYMONSTER’s signature intensity, reinforcing their charismatic identity while pushing tighter synchronization between sound and choreography.
Executive producer Yang Hyun-suk previously described the project as “an album unlike anything shown before,” amplifying anticipation for a defining evolution in the group’s discography.
YG Entertainment added that the album captures “the exhilarating moment where music and dance become one,” pointing to an expanded sonic spectrum and performance scale.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER will hold their second anniversary fan event “MONSTIEZ DAY” from March 30 to April 5 across Seoul locations including Hapjeong, Myeongdong, and Insadong, accelerating momentum ahead of the comeback.
