The 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) will return for its third edition at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, marking a decisive expansion in both scale and ambition.
According to the KGMA organizing committee on March 18, the ceremony will take place over two days, November 7 and 8, at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District, Seoul. The move relocates the event from Inspire Arena in Yeongjong Island, the venue for its first and second editions.
Now in its third year, KGMA has established itself as a multi-genre music awards platform spanning K-pop, bands, and trot. At last year’s ceremony, 32 teams took the stage, with THE BOYZ, BOYNEXTDOOR, Stray Kids, IVE, ATEEZ, and ALLDAY PROJECT claiming the top honor, the Grand Trophy, cementing the show’s rising influence and visibility.
Building on that momentum, the organizers are scaling up the venue to enhance accessibility and create a more immersive environment where artists and fans can engage more closely.
With the expanded stage, this year’s ceremony is expected to deliver a wider spectrum of performances, bringing together both emerging acts and established legends across generations.
The organizers, including Ilgan Sports (Edaily M), added that key details such as judging criteria, award categories, and the artist lineup will be revealed sequentially in the lead-up to the event.
