Channel A’s flagship dating reality series Heart Signal is making its return with Season 5, three years after its last installment.
Set to premiere in April, the show once again places young singles in the “Signal House,” observing their evolving relationships while a panel of celebrities attempts to predict the final couples. Through Season 4, Heart Signal has maintained strong ratings and sustained cultural buzz, cementing its status as a cornerstone of Korea’s dating reality format.
At the helm, producer Park Cheol-hwan continues his track record following the successful launch of Heart Pairing last year, which earned recognition at the 2025 Fundex Awards in the TV Season/Mini Variety category.
The original panel Yoon Jong-shin, Lee Sang-min, and Kim Eana return, bringing with them years of accumulated “Heart Signal data” and refined deduction skills. Joining them are Roy Kim and Tsuki, whose addition signals a deliberate shift toward a more dynamic and contemporary panel balance.
Roy Kim, known for his emotionally driven songwriting, is expected to provide nuanced insight into romantic tension, while Tsuki, recognized for her sharp wit and rising presence in variety shows, is poised to inject energy and immediacy into the studio dynamic.
“Having the original members back after three years gives the show a strong foundation,” Park said. “With Roy Kim and Tsuki joining, we aim to elevate both the panel’s appeal and the fun of reading romantic signals.” He added, “This season reflects a new generation, with deeper and more realistic emotional layers. We hope viewers will connect with this new signal shaped by a winter sensibility.”
