Young love enters a new chapter in Shining. Park Jinyoung and Kim Minju’s characters move beyond teenage affection as their relationship begins to mature at the age of twenty.
Episodes 3 and 4, airing March 13, follow Yeon Taeseo (Park Jinyoung) and Mo Euna (Kim Minju) as they navigate life in different circumstances while holding on to their feelings for each other. After stepping into adulthood, the two are forced to live apart following Taeseo’s university admission, yet their relationship remains steady despite the physical distance.
Their bond dates back to when they were nineteen. During moments when uncertainty about the future weighed heavily on Euna, Taeseo offered unwavering support, becoming the one person she could rely on most. Even after starting their own separate lives, the emotional connection between them remains firmly intact.
Euna, shaken by the sudden news of her father’s remarriage, travels to Seoul in search of Taeseo. He immediately rushes to meet her, reaffirming their unwavering bond. In the midst of complicated realities, the two continue to find comfort in each other.
Newly released stills capture the couple sharing tender moments together. From a cautious and secretive home date at Euna’s house to a quiet walk along the riverside at night, the scenes reveal how their feelings for each other have grown deeper.
The drama also highlights how their lives begin to diverge as they step into adulthood. While university student Taeseo focuses on his studies in the classroom, Euna appears wearing a hotel uniform, hinting at a very different path ahead. As their worlds slowly change, attention turns to how the two will continue their relationship.
