Bae In-hyuk and Roh Jeong-eui finally confirmed their feelings for each other in the latest episode of Our Universe, setting the stage for a full-fledged romance.
The March 5 broadcast of episode 10 showed Seon Tae-hyeong (Bae In-hyuk) and Woo Hyun-jin (Roh Jeong-eui) returning to their separate lives after ending their cohabitation. As they adjusted to the new distance, both gradually realized how deeply they missed each other. The episode culminated with a heartfelt confession and a kiss, signaling a major shift in their relationship.
After leaving Yuseong Villa, Seon Tae-hyeong moved into a new home, but the quiet space quickly filled him with an unexpected sense of emptiness. Traces of Seon Woo-ju (Park Yoo-ho) scattered around the house only deepened his loneliness. Woo Hyun-jin also struggled to adapt to the changed routine. The once familiar room now felt strangely hollow, and she found herself thinking about Seon Tae-hyeong, who had left the house for her and Woo-ju. Though she tried to appear composed, Tae-hyeong’s effort to distance himself revealed the complicated emotions lingering between them.
The two later crossed paths again during an internal company interview celebrating the success of their “GloMarket” project. Asked how she endured the difficult period, Hyun-jin replied, “I went home, complained, and sometimes cried. Strangely, that always made me feel better,” hinting at the person she had relied on. Tae-hyeong’s interview echoed a similar sentiment as he reflected, “Some feelings, whether they are lingering attachment or true emotion, can only be understood by seeing them through to the end.” Their lingering glances revealed emotions neither had fully let go.
Meanwhile, Hyun-jin also came to terms with her feelings toward Park Yun-seong (Yoon Hyun-soo). Though she initially appreciated his kindness, including attending Woo-ju’s presentation and helping with school runs, the gestures gradually began to feel burdensome. Baek Se-yeon (Choi Gyu-ri) offered a telling piece of advice: kindness from someone you do not love feels heavy, while kindness from someone you do love feels comforting. The words prompted Hyun-jin to confront her own heart, and even after Yun-seong asked for a third date, she realized she felt no excitement.
Their final outing took place at the orphanage where Yun-seong had spent part of his childhood. Yet even there, Hyun-jin’s thoughts drifted back to Tae-hyeong. Seeing a lonely child reminded her of his past, and memories of their conversations resurfaced.
Soon after, Hyun-jin heard that Tae-hyeong was leaving for the United States that very night. Realizing she could no longer postpone her feelings, she rushed to the airport.
At the same time, Tae-hyeong had already arrived at the airport with Amy Chu (Jin Seo-yeon). He had come along to stop Jo Mu-saeng (Koo Sung-hwan) from leaving for the U.S., but Hyun-jin misunderstood the situation and searched the airport anxiously for him.
When she finally found him, Hyun-jin poured out the feelings she had kept hidden. “I worried about you every day. When you were gone, I kept thinking about you,” she confessed. “Let’s try standing in the rain together. I think I could do it if I’m with you. Because I like you.”
The kiss that followed confirmed their mutual feelings, closing the episode on a sweet romantic note.
