BTS revealed a teaser for their upcoming live comeback performance, signaling the group’s return with a full-member lineup after a hiatus of three years and nine months.
On March 5, their agency BigHit Music and Netflix released the teaser for “BTS Comeback Live ARIRANG,” scheduled to take place on March 21, through official social media channels.
The video focuses on the silhouettes and voices of the seven members set against the historic backdrops of Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace. Reflections from the members underscore the sincerity of their reunion, with RM saying, “We came back to keep our promise to the fans,” while Jungkook adds, “I missed you.”
RM’s message that “the seven of us can walk the road together and swim forward” suggests that the group’s fifth studio album era may become a new turning point in BTS’s career. The members’ voices echoing through symbolic historic spaces in Korea add emotional weight to the upcoming comeback.
The production scale also draws attention. Renowned director Hamish Hamilton is overseeing the performance, while Netflix will handle the real-time broadcast, marking the platform’s first live global transmission of a music concert originating from Korea.
BTS will release their fifth full-length album “ARIRANG” on March 20, one day before the live event. The title track “SWIM,” written by RM, will lead the group’s next chapter as they resume activities together.
