WOODZ (Cho Seung-youn) is embarking on a new leap forward, unveiling his first full-length album 13 years after his debut while expanding his artistic universe across multiple formats.
According to his agency EDAM Entertainment on March 4, WOODZ will release his first studio album "Archive. 1" later that day, officially launching his comeback activities.
This comeback carries symbolic significance as his first full-length album since debut. It establishes a meaningful new turning point for the all-round musician WOODZ. The album features 17 tracks, all written, composed and produced by the artist himself. Along with the high musical completion of the album, the dramatic contrast between the two title tracks and the expansion of content into film and concerts objectively demonstrate his evolved capabilities.
The most immediate proof of that leap lies in the contrasting charm of the double title tracks. While "Human Extinction" philosophically explores the dual nature of humanity with a fast-driving band sound, the other title track "NA NA NA" portrays the moment of falling in love through refreshing vocals and an addictive guitar riff, delivering a striking contrast.
The comeback is also defined by a multi-layered expansion of content that illuminates the album from different angles. Ahead of the music release, WOODZ premiered the film "Slide Strum Mute," which connects with the narrative of the full album. The film entered the reservation chart at No.4 and sold out all stage greeting events. He also held a fan-invited pre-listening session to create early musical interaction with fans.
Expectations are also building for new hidden tracks such as the pre-released songs "CINEMA" and "Bloodline," which are expected to continue the momentum of his previous track "Drowning," a song that topped the annual charts.
Meanwhile, starting with the release of the first full-length album "Archive. 1," WOODZ will continue diverse promotional activities. Beginning March 14 at Inspire Arena in Incheon, he will embark on the large-scale world tour "2026 WOODZ WORLD TOUR Archive. 1," visiting 17 cities across Asia, Europe and Oceania.
