BLACKPINK has ascended to the top of global YouTube charts with their full-group comeback single "GO," reaffirming their formidable influence as the definitive YouTube powerhouse.
According to YG Entertainment and YouTube’s latest chart dated February 27, the music video for "GO," the title track of the group’s third mini album "DEADLINE," ranked No.1 on YouTube’s Global Daily Top Music Videos chart.
Praised for its cinematic artistry and commanding scale, the video has drawn explosive responses across North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Immediately upon release, it surged to No.1 on YouTube Worldwide Trending and also claimed the top spot among the "Most Viewed Videos in 24 Hours," demonstrating the group’s sustained global engagement power.
Beyond YouTube, BLACKPINK is dominating key global music metrics. The new release "DEADLINE" topped the iTunes Album Chart in a cumulative 38 regions. On China’s largest music platform QQ Music, all tracks including the title song achieved a full chart sweep. Physical album sales were equally historic, reaching 1,461,785 copies on the first day alone as of February 28, setting a new record for the highest first-day sales by a K-pop girl group.
This sweeping momentum coincides with BLACKPINK’s milestone achievement of surpassing 100 million YouTube channel subscribers, becoming the first artist in the world to reach the mark, amplifying the synergy surrounding their comeback.
In addition, the ongoing "National Museum X BLACKPINK" collaboration project at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul further extends the album’s narrative by integrating Korean traditional culture, solidifying BLACKPINK’s irreplaceable position in the global pop market.
Returning as a full group for the first time in approximately three years and five months, BLACKPINK is poised to continue its record-breaking run on the strength of overwhelming sales and dominant global chart performances.
