A family dog may be affectionate at home, but what if it turns fiercely aggressive the moment someone steps through the door. The greater concern is that the dog shares the same space with an 11-month-old baby. The story of a troubled dog whose unpredictable biting behavior has put an entire household on edge will be revealed.
The March 2 broadcast of KBS2’s variety program Dogs Are Incredible will focus on the dangerous behavior of “Woori,” a dog living with an 11-month-old infant. Broadcaster Oh Jung-yeon appears in the studio as an observer, watching both the training process and the dog’s problematic conduct.
Woori reportedly attempts to bite anyone entering the house, whether family members or visitors. At the sound of the doorbell, the dog instantly shifts into an aggressive stance, often beyond the guardians’ control. Within the family, Woori has even earned the nickname “the ruler of the house.”
The dog’s behavior varies sharply depending on the family member. Woori shows strong attachment and affection toward the older sister guardian but displays aggression toward anyone approaching her. The mother, who handles bathing and grooming, has already suffered multiple bite incidents, leaving visible injuries.
The problem extends beyond the home. At a veterinary clinic, treatment was once halted due to biting, and several grooming salons have refused service. The situation has effectively reached a point where control is increasingly difficult.
What most alarms the family is Woori’s interaction with the 11-month-old baby. The infant approaches the dog without hesitation, while Woori curls its lips in a tense warning gesture that appears ready to escalate. Despite repeated close calls, the guardians remain relatively unconcerned, saying, “The dog would never bite the baby.”
However, the cast members and trainer stress the severity of the risk. When the baby reaches a hand near the dog’s mouth, tension fills the studio, with some panelists admitting the moment is frightening to watch.
The trainer also expresses concern over the guardians’ optimistic attitude. Given that the issue is directly tied to the baby’s safety, this training session will involve stronger and more intensive behavioral correction than ever before.
Whether Woori can let go of its aggression and coexist safely with the family will be revealed on the March 2 broadcast of KBS2’s Dogs Are Incredible.
