The TOP7 members of ‘Mister Trot 3’ were all honored at the ‘Korea Entertainment & Arts Awards,’ held February 26–27 at the Grand Theater of Gyeonggi Arts Center. Kim Yong-bin, Son Bina, Cheon Rok-dam, Choon-gil, Choi Jae-myung, Nam Seung-min, and Chu Hyuk-jin each received awards in their respective categories, underscoring both their popularity and artistry.
The ceremony recognized a total of 56 recipients across five general categories, 13 singer categories, and 10 special divisions, celebrating contributions to the advancement of culture and the arts.
Kim Yong-bin claimed two honors, winning both the Seoul Mayor’s Award and Artist of the Year. “It has been 12 years since I stood on stage again, and it is all thanks to the love from my fans,” he said.
Son Bina received Male Singer of the Year, noting, “I realized once again how meaningful this stage is. I will continue to greet fans with even better performances.”
Rookie Cheon Rok-dam earned Favorite Singer in the male category. “It has not even been a year since my debut, and I am deeply honored to receive such a major award. I will repay this love through my music,” he said.
Choon-gil and Chu Hyuk-jin, recognized as next-generation stars, both won Rising Star Awards. Choon-gil vowed to grow with a sense of responsibility, while Chu reflected on the significance of receiving the award after years of activity, adding that it felt especially meaningful ahead of his birthday.
Nam Seung-min and Choi Jae-myung were presented with fan-voted Star Awards, highlighting the strength of their dedicated fandoms. Both expressed gratitude and promised continued growth.
Following their breakout on ‘Mister Trot 3,’ the TOP7 are continuing to meet fans through a nationwide tour, with upcoming performances scheduled in Incheon, Chuncheon, and Seoul.
