An unexpected crisis strikes the “Universe Family,” raising questions over whether Sun Tae-hyung’s hardened resolve will finally waver.
tvN’s Wednesday–Thursday drama “Our Universe” (2026) has signaled another emotional surge. Newly released stills on February 26 capture the residents of Yuseong Villa caught in a sudden emergency. At the same time, a daytime picnic scene between Woo Hyun-jin (Roh Jeong-eui) and Park Yoon-sung (Park Seoham) hints at shifting dynamics in the unfolding romance.
Previously, Sun Tae-hyung (Bae In-hyuk) was thrown into turmoil following the abrupt return of his father, Sun Gyu-tae (Ryu Seung-soo). While Gyu-tae approached him with belated paternal affection, Tae-hyung, still scarred by childhood wounds, drew a cold line between them. Meanwhile, Tae-hyung and Hyun-jin grew closer through shared pain, and Yoon-sung’s bold confession toward Hyun-jin solidified a tense love triangle.
The newly unveiled images show young Sun Woo-joo (Park Yoo-ho) covered in a worrying red rash. Gyu-tae stays by the child’s side, cooling his fever with a damp towel, while Tae-hyung watches with conflicted emotion. The anxious expressions of Hyun-jin and Tae-hyung contrast sharply with Gyu-tae’s faint, ambiguous smile as he observes the pair comforting the child. Attention now turns to whether Gyu-tae’s persistent sincerity can break through his son’s guarded heart.
The romance line also intensifies. A two-shot of Hyun-jin and Yoon-sung sharing lunch in a park draws attention. After Yoon-sung’s daring proposal to “meet three times,” viewers are eager to see what change their latest conversation may bring. Beneath the warm sunlight, Hyun-jin’s decision could mark a decisive turning point in their relationship.
