EXO successfully concluded a large-scale pop-up and in-person promotional event spanning major cities across China, once again reaffirming the strength of its global fandom.
On February 25, SM Entertainment announced that the China QQ Music collaboration wrapping pop-up, organized to commemorate the release of EXO’s eighth full-length album "REVERXE," has recently wrapped up.
Initially planned for major shopping malls in eight cities including Beijing and Shanghai, the event expanded to a total of 13 cities after five additional locations such as Shenzhen and Chongqing were added in response to local visitor demand. This marks the largest number of cities ever involved in a QQ Music K-pop artist pop-up.
Amid the largest-scale promotion of its kind, EXO visited Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen from February 6 to 9, holding fan signings and photo sessions to communicate directly with local fans. The synergy created by the expanded pop-up scale and the group’s in-person events translated into tangible results, recording approximately 600000 cumulative visitors over the course of about one month, according to figures provided by QQ Music.
This series of activities and measurable achievements are interpreted as objective indicators of EXO’s solid core fandom size and sustained buzz within the Greater China region following the release of its eighth studio album.
Meanwhile, EXO will hold its sixth solo concert tour "EXO PLANET #6 - EXhOrizon" from April 10 to 12 at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul.
