Disney+ original series Made in Korea, starring Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung, has officially become the most-watched Korean original released on the platform in 2025 worldwide, based on viewership within 48 days of its premiere.
Made in Korea tells the story of Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin), a man who seeks to rise to the pinnacle of wealth and power by turning the nation itself into a profit model during South Korea’s turbulent yet transformative 1970s, and prosecutor Jang Geon-young (Jung Woo-sung), who relentlessly pursues him with unwavering determination as both men confront massive events that shape an era.
The series had already demonstrated explosive popularity, ranking first in domestic viewership and first across the Asia-Pacific region among Disney+ Korean originals released in 2025. It has now extended its dominance globally, continuing its unstoppable rise in international markets.
Made in Korea, which is rewriting the history of Korean streaming success, is currently available in full with all six episodes on Disney+.
