Suspicions have begun to spread from outside forces to those within. ENA’s Monday–Tuesday drama Honor: Their Courtroom is intensifying its psychological tension as every relationship comes under renewed scrutiny.
All major figures are now potential suspects. Prosecutor Park Je-yeol (Seo Hyun-woo), who handled the case of deceased victim Cho Yoo-jung (Park Se-hyun), was revealed to be an administrator of the secret prostitution app “Connectin.” At the same time, Kwon Jung-hyun (Lee Hae-young), the second-in-command of Haeil and mentor to Kang Shin-jae (Jung Eun-chae), was also exposed as a user. With both authority figures implicated, the distinction between justice and complicity has begun to collapse.
Within L&J (Listen & Join), a law firm specializing in crimes against women, even trusted allies have fallen under suspicion. Genius hacker Kim Dong-je (Kim Moon-gi), long considered the firm’s technological backbone, secured Kwon Jung-hyun’s phone and confirmed the existence of “Connectin.” Yet moments later, the app was remotely destroyed, suggesting their investigation had been detected. The fact that such a breach occurred under the watch of a world-class hacker raises troubling questions.
Informant Do Joon (Woo Hyun-joon), a former military intelligence specialist turned private investigator, is also facing scrutiny. Known for his precision, he nevertheless failed to prevent Cho Yoo-jung’s death. The hospital janitor he had previously identified was later revealed to be the individual behind the threats. Whether this was a calculated deception or an investigative oversight remains uncertain.
IT innovator and The Prime CEO Baek Tae-ju (Yeon Woo-jin) has likewise emerged as a figure of interest. He personally selected Kang Shin-jae as legal counsel for a smart city project, praising her as “a lawyer to watch in Asia.” Yet his decision to approach a lawyer specializing in sex crime cases suggests motives that remain concealed.
Hwang Hyun-jin’s husband Goo Sun-gyu (Choi Young-joon) and partner Kim Seung-jin (Jung Hee-tae) have also displayed unsettling behavior. Kim reacted with visible hostility when Cho Yoo-jung attempted to retract her testimony, while Goo began investigating not only the case but also the past of the L&J trio. Their actions hint at deeper intentions yet to be revealed.
Victim Han Min-seo (Jeon So-young), who refused to file a police report and instead sought protection from L&J, adds another layer of uncertainty. Her acquaintance Lee Sun-hwa (Baek Ji-hye), previously involved in financial transactions connected to the case, remains another potential weak point.
Hong Yeon-hee (Baek Eun-hye), Park Je-yeol’s wife and a forensic examiner, represents one of the most volatile elements. After enduring abuse and manipulation, she secretly obtained Hwang Hyun-jin’s DNA and chose divorce. Yet the pressure surrounding her continues to mount, leaving her next move unpredictable.
As suspicion expands and loyalties fracture, no character remains beyond doubt. With every revelation reshaping the narrative, the question remains who is truly pulling the strings.
