Ju Ji-hoon, Ha Ji-won, Nana, Oh Jung-se and Cha Joo-young headline the survival drama Climax, which has officially lifted the veil.
Climax follows prosecutor Bang Tae-seop, who dives into a cartel of power in pursuit of the highest seat in the nation, and the fierce survival battle that unfolds around him.
The newly released teaser poster symbolically visualizes the drama’s intense tone. Standing alone at the top of a red staircase, Bang Tae-seop embodies his relentless ambition to rise to the pinnacle of power. The cracked walls and dominant crimson palette suggest a world fractured by ruthless struggles, hinting at a character gradually driven to the brink. The phrase “The more one corrupts, the higher one rises. The more one longs, the closer to the climax,” foreshadows the turbulent path awaiting him.
The first teaser trailer captures the razor-sharp desires of characters racing toward the top and their tightly entangled relationships. More than a conventional crime or political drama, Climax signals the catastrophic consequences born from human choices shaken by desire. The series premieres Monday, March 16 at 10 p.m., and will be available on KT Genie TV and Disney+.
