Busan was filled with tears and thunderous cheers. And at the very end, an even bigger beginning was announced.
Singer Lim Young Woong successfully wrapped up his 2026 nationwide concert tour “IM HERO” and surprised fans by unveiling plans for a second stadium concert, titled “IM HERO – THE STADIUM 2.”
The Busan concerts, held from February 6 to 8 at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 and 2, marked the final stop of the tour. Opening with “Wonderful Life,” Lim instantly commanded the stage. When he shouted, “Hero Era, make some noise,” the venue erupted into deafening cheers, transforming the hall into a vast wave of sky-blue light.
The setlist, featuring “London Boy,” “I’ll Become a Wildflower,” and “A Melody for You,” showcased Lim’s wide musical spectrum. Dynamic lighting, large-scale stage effects, and theatrical transitions elevated the performances beyond a conventional concert, creating an experience closer to a full-scale musical production.
A three-sided giant screen ensured clear visibility from every seat, while synchronized light-mapping effects linked to official light sticks turned the entire venue into a single massive canvas. Lim’s emotional delivery and delicate vocal control added depth to every performance, leaving a lasting impression.
One of the most memorable moments was the fan-participation segment often referred to as the “Hero Song Contest.” Lim reinterpreted audience-requested songs in his own style, blending humor, warmth, and vocal finesse, once again proving his strength as a communication-driven artist.
As the concert drew to a close, Lim ended the night with his signature farewell, “Geon-haeng,” wishing health and happiness to his fans. Amid unending applause and sing-alongs, he returned to the stage to express heartfelt gratitude, promising to remain by his fans’ side through his music.
A teaser video revealed on-site confirmed that “IM HERO – THE STADIUM 2” will take place this September at Goyang Sports Complex. The concert marks his second stadium show, following his historic stadium performance in May 2024.
The 2026 nationwide tour began in Incheon and continued through Daegu, Seoul’s KSPO Dome, Gwangju, Daejeon, Gocheok Sky Dome, and Busan. Across 24 performances, approximately 252,000 fans joined the journey.
