An unprecedented dog with very specific tastes is set to appear on SBS’s Animal Farm. Sweet eye smiles come first, but Yuki’s expressions of affection are anything but predictable.
In the February 8 broadcast, viewers meet Yuki, a Shiba Inu with sparkling eye smiles reminiscent of actress Kim Go-eun. Despite the heart-fluttering visuals, Yuki has earned a reputation as a true “confusion-inducer” for the owners.
Even at dog cafés, Yuki shows little interest in other dogs. While the others play energetically, Yuki stays focused on observing people. Once a preferred target appears, Yuki rushes over like lightning, flashes an adorable eye smile — and then suddenly urinates.
The issue is that this behavior is not accidental. Yuki’s “damp expression of affection” has been repeated only in front of specific men, whether during walks or near the house, leaving the owners visibly flustered. What makes it even stranger is that Yuki shows complete indifference toward the male production staff of Animal Farm.
To verify the owner’s claim that “he only does this to handsome men,” the production team carried out direct experiments. From surprise tests involving aspiring actors to expert behavioral analysis, the search for Yuki’s true motive begins in earnest.
Then comes the biggest twist of all. Yuki is not female, but male. Does Yuki truly have a special ability to recognize handsome men, or is there a completely different reason hidden behind the behavior?
Yuki’s true feelings behind those eye smiles will be revealed on SBS’s Animal Farm, airing February 8 at 9:30 a.m.
