Genie TV Original • ENA Monday Tuesday drama Honour delivered another chilling episode as Lee Na-young was violently attacked once again, while the true identity of a secret prostitution app behind a nationwide scandal finally surfaced, pushing tension to its peak.
The second episode, which aired on Feb. 3, recorded 3.2 percent nationwide and 3.0 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area, marking an increase from the previous broadcast, according to Nielsen Korea.
The story opened with teenage assault victim Jo Yoo-jung arriving at the L&J law firm’s 10th anniversary party covered in blood. She shocked the room by confessing that she had killed reporter Lee Jun-hyuk. Despite claiming to be a victim of sexual assault, she cried that she would rather go to prison and be left alone, deepening the unease surrounding her statement.
The aftermath fractured the relationships among the firm’s three lawyers. Hwang Hyun-jin discovered Lee’s body at his home and secretly took a mobile phone from the scene, a risky move to hide her own mistake from the previous night. Meanwhile, Yoon Ra-young stepped forward to defend Jo, arguing self-defense and diminished responsibility, placing the two lawyers in direct opposition.
Refusing to abandon her client, Ra-young noticed Jo’s habit of tearing at her nails until they bled whenever she felt anxious. Sensing fear behind the confession, she vowed to uncover the truth, turning her defense into an investigation.
Elsewhere, Hyun-jin traced Lee’s final investigation to a prostitution scandal linked to a covert app called “ConnectIn.” The platform disguised trafficking as “lessons,” erased evidence, and pretended to rescue victims, revealing a system built on the systematic violation of human dignity.
A decisive clue emerged from photos on Lee’s phone. Reflected in a Nike statue behind Jo holding a knife was a masked third figure. Her memory later showed an assailant forcing the weapon into her hand, suggesting she might not be the true killer.
There was no time to breathe. In the closing moments, Ra-young returned home only to be ambushed as the door shut. Overpowered without warning, she suffered a brutal attack as an awl pierced her hand. Her scream cut off as the screen faded to black, delivering another blood-soaked ending that stunned viewers.
Conflicts within Haeil Group, Ra-young’s violent past, and Hyun-jin’s suspicious slip of the tongue further tightened the mystery. Attention now turns to how the three lawyers’ pursuit of the truth behind “ConnectIn” will unfold.
