KATSEYE, billed as HYBE’s global girl group, has reinforced its rising status in North America with consecutive appearances on major U.S. stages, including a Super Bowl commercial and a popular late-night talk show.
On Feb. 4, HYBE and Geffen Records said the group members Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae are set to take part in a Super Bowl advertising campaign and NBC’s flagship talk show, marking another significant step in their local activities.
First, KATSEYE will meet viewers worldwide through a campaign commercial for global insurance brand State Farm, scheduled to air during the Super Bowl broadcast on Feb. 9 local time. Super Bowl commercials, known for their premium per-second costs and an audience exceeding 100 million viewers, are widely regarded as a barometer of trends in the entertainment market. As models for the campaign, the members will appear alongside prominent local celebrities including actress Hailee Steinfeld, signaling their arrival at the center of American pop culture.
The growing buzz has also led to invitations from major broadcasters. Ahead of the Super Bowl commercial release, the group is scheduled to appear as guests on NBC’s late-night staple The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Feb. 5. Host Jimmy Fallon previously drew attention by parodying the lyrics of KATSEYE’s new song, heightening anticipation for their upcoming appearance.
KATSEYE’s rapid crossover between advertising and television has been backed by solid mainstream popularity. On the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart dated Feb. 7, the group placed two songs simultaneously for a fourth consecutive week, with “Gabriela” at No. 29 and “Internet Girl” at No. 80, maintaining a sharp upward trajectory.
Their U.S. schedule, including the Grammy Awards, a Super Bowl commercial, and a Jimmy Fallon appearance, underscores KATSEYE’s emergence as a new powerhouse in the global pop market. With proven chart performance and increasing calls from the local industry, the group’s continued growth is raising expectations for even bigger achievements ahead.
