Koo Kyo-hwan and Mun Ka-young’s film Once We Were Us maintained its position at the top of the box office.

According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated ticketing network on January 30, Once We Were Us drew 28,847 viewers on January 29, marking its 19th consecutive day at No. 1. Total admissions have reached 2,143,112.

Once We Were Us tells a grounded, emotionally resonant romance about Eun-ho (Koo Kyo-hwan) and Jeong-won (Mun Ka-young), former lovers who unexpectedly reunite after 10 years and revisit traces of their shared memories. Since its release on December 31, the film has gained strong word-of-mouth for the two leads’ compelling performances and relatable storytelling, reaching its break-even point of 1.1 million admissions in just 13 days.

Starring Park Si-hoo and Jung Jin-woon, Choir of God ranked second with 24,710 admissions for the day, bringing its cumulative total to 786,058.

Choir of God depicts the events that unfold after a fake praise choir is created in North Korea as part of a foreign currency scheme.

Avatar: Fire and Ash placed third, attracting 9,420 viewers for the day and reaching a cumulative total of 6,613,222 admissions.

Avatar: Fire and Ash follows the Sully family as they face an even greater crisis on Pandora, now engulfed in fire and ash, after the death of their eldest son Neteyam and the emergence of the Ash People led by Varang.

Fourth place went to Send Help, which drew 6,419 viewers, bringing its total admissions to 21,385.

Send Help is a survival thriller centered on Linda (Rachel McAdams), who becomes stranded on a deserted island with her despised boss Bradley (Dylan O’Brien) after a plane crash, setting off a brutal power reversal once workplace hierarchies collapse.

Following closely, The Housemaid climbed to fifth place with 6,330 admissions, for a cumulative total of 18,040.

The Housemaid, based on a global bestselling novel, is a high-stakes twist thriller about Millie (Sydney Sweeney), a mysterious housemaid with a hidden past, who becomes entangled with secretive wife Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and seemingly perfect husband Andrew (Brandon Sklenar) inside an immaculate mansion, confronting the lies concealed behind closed doors.
