With its premiere approaching, Recipe For Love has completed an extraordinary trot OST lineup that is drawing strong attention.
On January 28, OST production company NyamNyam Entertainment revealed the first lineup, confirming that Park Ji-hyeon, Song Ga-in, Jeon Yu-jin, and Jung Seo-joo will participate in singing for the drama’s soundtrack. The announcement alone carries significant weight, bringing together names that command immediate respect in the trot music world.
Park Ji-hyeon placed as “Sun” on TV CHOSUN’s Mr. Trot 2. Song Ga-in was crowned “Jin (winner)” on Miss Trot. Jeon Yu-jin claimed the title of “Jin (champion)” on MBN’s Active Singer King. Jung Seo-joo became the “Jin (winner)” of Miss Trot 3. Together, they represent the top ranks of Korea’s major trot audition programs, uniting champions and leading performers in a single drama OST.
The production team stated that each singer’s unique personality and emotional color will blend with the drama’s key scenes, leaving a deep and lasting impression and enhancing the emotional impact of the story.
Adding further strength to the project is executive producer Song Dong-woon, widely recognized as a guarantee of OST success. He has produced soundtracks for numerous hit dramas, including Hotel Del Luna, Descendants of the Sun, It’s Okay, That’s Love, Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and Our Blues.
He also created some of the most iconic tracks from Guardian The Lonely and Great God, including “I Will Go to You Like the First Snow”, “Stay With Me”, “Beautiful”, and “I Miss You”, all of which became mega hits and firmly established his unrivaled presence in the OST industry.
With the deep emotional power of trot stars combined with the refined craftsmanship of a proven producer, the OST for Recipe For Love is expected to resonate strongly with weekend viewers and heighten the drama’s emotional atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Recipe For Love is directed by Han Jun-seo, known for The Real Has Come! and Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life, and written by Park Ji-sook, who penned The Tale of Lady Ok, Uncle, and My Spring Days. The drama tells the story of two families torn apart by misunderstandings who gradually heal each other’s wounds and reunite as one, delivering a warm and heartfelt family narrative.
Recipe For Love is scheduled to premiere on January 31, 2026, at 8 p.m.
