BLACKPINK brought their seven-month global journey to a dazzling close in Hong Kong, raising anticipation for their upcoming 10th debut anniversary and long-awaited comeback.
On January 28, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK successfully completed their world tour with the final shows of “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR
The Hong Kong concerts marked the grand finale of the tour and their first local performances in three years, drawing explosive enthusiasm over all three nights. The interior and exterior of Kai Tak Stadium, the largest concert venue in Hong Kong, were transformed by massive LED displays reading “BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA,” while waves of pink from early-gathering fans created a spectacular scene.
The energy inside the venue was equally overwhelming. Opening with “Kill This Love” and “Pink Venom,” BLACKPINK powered through a lineup of mega hits including “How You Like That,” “Playing with Fire,” and “Shut Down,” along with four distinctive solo stages that highlighted each member’s individuality. YG’s signature high-quality production and live band sound amplified the intensity of their performances.
At the emotional finale, the members tearfully expressed their gratitude to fans. They said, “This year marks our 10th anniversary, and every moment we’ve shared with BLINK has felt like a dream,” adding, “Thanks to you, we’ve always been happy and gained the strength to move forward. Please look forward to our upcoming new song as well.”
With the Hong Kong finale, BLACKPINK concluded their 33-show “DEADLINE” tour, which included major milestones such as becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will release their third mini album “DEADLINE” on February 27 at 2 p.m., marking their first album in approximately three years and five months since their second full-length album “BORN PINK.”
