On January 22, CUBE Entertainment revealed the first concept photo for i-dle’s new digital single “Mono (Feat. Skaiwater)” through its official SNS channels.
The released images capture the group’s chic charm as Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua style denim with black-and-white crop tops. In particular, the composition, where the members naturally blend with various people rather than standing alone, draws attention by creating a subtle sense of contrast and harmony that transcends boundaries.
Another striking aspect is how the members’ dynamic poses flow continuously against a static monotone background, delivering a unique visual aesthetic that resembles a sound waveform brought to life.
This teaser visually embodies the meaning of the title “Mono,” which refers to playing sound through a single channel. Along with the previously unveiled message, “Play the whole world in Mono,” and the announcement of British rapper Skaiwater’s participation, expectations are rising for a new musical synergy in which different individualities merge into one through i-dle’s sound.
