A new chapter in youth golf in Korea will open at The Heaven Resort in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. U.S. Kids Golf, the global youth golf system, has officially launched its Korean tournament series, ‘U.S. Kids Golf Korea,’ and confirmed The Heaven Resort as the main competition venue.
The first official event of the season, the ‘U.S. Kids Golf Korea Championship (Korean Championship),’ marks the first international tournament hosted by U.S. Kids Golf in Korea. It is drawing strong attention as it offers young Korean golfers the opportunity to experience international-standard competition environments and systems firsthand.
The championship will be held from April 22 to 24, consisting of three rounds over three days. Following this, a total of seven series tournaments will be organized annually, scheduled monthly or quarterly in accordance with the youth player development system of the U.S. headquarters. Based on international tournament rules, the events will apply a detailed tee system categorized by age, gender, and skill level, while also introducing a family-oriented format that allows parental caddies to participate.
The Heaven C.C., located within The Heaven Resort, was recently ranked among the top 10 courses in the ‘Korea Top 100 Golf Courses’ list and is recognized alongside Nine Bridges and Anyang C.C. as one of Korea’s premier golf courses. It is accessible within one hour from the Seoul metropolitan area and features the distinctive ‘Sea Surround’ view, with three sides of the course facing the ocean.
The course has hosted more than ten official tournaments, including KLPGA Championships, establishing itself as a proven competitive venue. Its eco-friendly design that maximizes natural terrain and its strategic hole layout provide young players with an environment to develop advanced competitive instincts and course management skills.
The Heaven Resort, which encompasses The Heaven C.C., is a luxury residential complex combining premium accommodation and relaxation. It offers a wide range of room types, including a 200-pyeong super penthouse, 150-pyeong penthouses, and 70-pyeong and 60-pyeong suites. With private circulation designs and top-tier facilities, the resort provides an ideal environment for players, families, and coaching staff to stay for extended periods during tournaments.
The clubhouse is designed in an American luxury style and is equipped with banquet halls and VIP rooms. The resort also features restaurants, swimming pools, saunas, and various amenities for guests, making it a space that satisfies both competition and relaxation needs.
Alongside the U.S. Kids Golf Korea Championship, the international junior golf series ‘The Junior Golf Series (The JGS) Korea’ will also be introduced sequentially. These tournaments aim to serve as a bridge connecting domestic competitions to major international events, strengthening the global competitiveness of Korean youth golfers.
The organizer, BM (Beyond Momentum) Global Golf, stated, “The outstanding course conditions and infrastructure of The Heaven Resort provide an ideal environment for young golfers to challenge themselves on the international stage. Through these two tournament series, we will actively support Korean youth golfers in building the experience and skills needed to compete globally.”
U.S. Kids Golf was founded in the United States in 1996 and is a specialized youth golf brand that has contributed to the global expansion of junior golf culture through the development of lightweight golf clubs designed for children’s physiques and strength. With the launch of these tournaments at The Heaven Resort, it is expected to present a new growth model for the youth golf market in Korea.
