BLACKPINK once again proved their world-class status by selling out Tokyo Dome for three consecutive nights in Japan.
On January 20, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK successfully concluded “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [DEADLINE] IN TOKYO,” held from January 16 to 18 at Tokyo Dome.
This marked BLACKPINK’s third time performing at Tokyo Dome, following their concerts in 2019 and 2023. All 165,000 seats across three shows were completely sold out, drawing significant attention from local fans and media.
During the concert period, a special light-up campaign was carried out across Japan’s four major towers in Tokyo, Kobe, Nagoya, and Sapporo. Long lines formed at the on-site MD booths, vividly capturing the intense excitement surrounding the performances.
The stage production, showcasing YG’s accumulated concert expertise, and BLACKPINK’s powerful performances backed by a live band once again lived up to their reputation. From global hits such as “Kill This Love” and “Pink Venom” to their newly released tour track “JUMP,” the setlist traced the group’s musical journey and ignited explosive cheers from the audience.
After successfully completing the Tokyo Dome concerts, BLACKPINK will head to Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium from January 24 to 26. These shows will mark the grand finale of their massive world tour, which spans 16 cities and a total of 33 performances.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to release their third mini album, “DEADLINE,” on February 27, marking their first full-group comeback in three years and five months.
