Singer Son Tae-jin brought his nationwide tour to a brilliant close, turning its final page with heartfelt emotion.
On January 17 and 18, Son Tae-jin held the “2025 Son Tae-jin National Tour Concert ‘It’s Son Time’” at Yongin Poeun Art Hall, successfully wrapping up his tour that spanned four cities including Seoul, Daegu, and Busan. Amid thunderous cheers from a sold-out audience, he once again proved his distinctive musical narrative and commanding stage presence.
‘It’s Son Time’ was a concert that truly embodied “Son Tae-jin’s time.” Structured like a journey through his musical career, each chapter flowed seamlessly into the next, weaving different emotions and colors into a cohesive story. With sincere performances and delicate emotional expression, Son connected deeply with the audience at every show.
The opening segment, “Son rise Time,” immediately ignited the atmosphere with energetic songs, including “Flower,” the title track from his first full-length album SHINE, and Kim Won-jun’s “Show.” His powerful vocals and relaxed performance heated up the venue from the very start.
The mood deepened during “Story Time,” where Son portrayed moments of life ranging from the flutter of first love to the longing of separation through a musical-style stage. Songs such as “After the Play Ends” and “An Unknowable Life” became narratives of their own, engraving his presence not just as a singer but as a true storyteller.
In the latter segment, “Party Time,” the temperature of the hall soared once more. Fans filled the venue with a powerful sing-along during his newly released song “Melody of Love,” and the trot medley of “The Third Han River Bridge,” “Apartment,” and “Love Twist” pushed the excitement to its peak through active interaction between Son and the audience. A VCR parodying films and dramas further highlighted his playful charm.

“Being able to meet fans across the country through ‘It’s Son Time’ made me truly happy. This tour was not an ending, but a beginning that makes me look forward to the time we will continue to share,” he said.
He added, “I am still constantly challenging myself and searching for my own music. I hope Sonshine (the fandom) will continue this journey with me. I want to become a singer who can stay on stage for a long time while protecting my sincerity,” leaving a lasting emotional impression.
Meanwhile, Son Tae-jin continues to expand his activities beyond music into sports and cooking entertainment programs, showcasing his versatility. With his genre-defying steps, he is steadily solidifying his position as a “new national singer.”
