Singer Wendy has successfully wrapped up her first solo world tour, firmly establishing herself as a “global vocal queen.”
On January 19, Ascend announced that Wendy concluded the grand finale of her "2025 Wendy First World Tour: W:EALIVE" with her Manila concert on January 17.
The tour began in Seoul last September and expanded across major Asian cities such as Taipei, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, as well as North America including San Francisco, Chicago, and New York. In total, the tour covered 14 cities with 17 performances.
The Manila concert, marking the tour’s finale, showcased Wendy’s strengthened musical depth and expanded artistic spectrum, built through her first solo world tour journey.
Opening with the track "Fireproof" from her third mini album, Wendy captivated audiences by moving seamlessly between rhythmic songs such as "Hate²" and "Queen Of The Party" and emotional ballads including "Like Water" and "When This Rain Stops."
She further heightened the immersion with an OST medley featuring "Goodbye" and "Erase You from My Sadness," displaying her signature emotional sensitivity and vocal expressiveness.
Through her agency, Wendy shared, "Every moment felt like a dream. I sincerely thank fans around the world who joined me on my first world tour, and I hope you look forward to the day we meet again."
Meanwhile, after transferring to Ascend last year, Wendy released her third mini album "Cerulean Verge" and expanded her solo activities through world tours and variety programs. She plans to continue her active career throughout this year.
