Jennie is marking her 30th birthday by unveiling a personal archive that captures the most honest moments of her mid-twenties, opening a deeply personal chapter of her life to the public.
Her first photo exhibition, JENNIE PHOTO EXHIBITION ‘J2NNI5’, opens on January 16 at Youthquake in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The exhibition is designed as a portrait of “Kim Jennie, the person,” shifting the focus from the global star to the individual behind the stage.
Organized under the direction of her agency, OA Entertainment, the exhibition features previously unreleased photographs of Jennie at the age of 25. The images were captured by leading Korean photographers including Hong Jang-hyun, Shin Sun-hye, and Mok Jung-wook, highlighting unguarded, unplanned moments that reveal her most natural self.
The space is structured as a continuous narrative, guiding visitors floor by floor through a single flow. In the final section, a behind-the-scenes interview delivered directly by Jennie adds depth and emotional resonance. She was involved in every stage of the project, from the initial planning and photo book production to the exhibition itself, reinforcing its personal authenticity.
Interest is also high in the photo book released alongside the exhibition. Limited to 3,000 copies worldwide, it spans 692 pages and documents one year of Jennie’s journey through more than 50 different concepts, making it a highly collectible piece. In addition, 15 types of merchandise, including a 2026 calendar, planner, and hoodies, will be unveiled at the venue.
For global fans, a simultaneous pop-up event will be held in collaboration with Daikanyama Tsutaya in Tokyo. Timed to coincide with BLACKPINK’s Tokyo concert schedule, the pop-up is expected to offer local fans a special extension of the exhibition experience.
Demand has already proven overwhelming. Advance reservations for the Seoul exhibition sold out within 40 minutes, while Tokyo tickets were completely sold out in just 15 minutes, demonstrating Jennie’s formidable global influence.
Meanwhile, Jennie plans to donate the entire proceeds from the exhibition and ticket sales, adding further significance to the project.
