Actor Lee Jong-won, Shin Ye-eun, and BoyNextDoor’s Myung Jaehyun have been selected as the official MCs for the 2nd D Awards, set to elevate both the prestige and energy of the ceremony.
On January 15, the organizers of the 2nd D Awards (D Awards with upick) announced that Lee Jong-won, Shin Ye-eun, and Myung Jaehyun will serve as the main hosts of this year’s event.
This year’s MC lineup draws attention through distinctive keywords that highlight each host’s unique charm. Lee Jong-won, who returns for a second consecutive year, will take on the role of the “Guardian,” anchoring the ceremony with his trademark stable hosting skills and refined suit styling.
Joining him is Shin Ye-eun, dubbed the “Muse.” After gaining widespread popularity through JTBC’s weekend drama A Hundred Memories (2025) and the Hulu original series The Murky Stream (2025), she is expected to bring a bright and lively energy that contrasts with her on-screen roles and adds fresh vitality to the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Myung Jaehyun, the leader of fifth-generation K-pop group BoyNextDoor, will appear as the “Frontman.” With his proven wit and relaxed hosting style on programs such as Mnet’s M Countdown, he is anticipated to serve as a key bridge between the stage and global K-pop fans.
Recognized as “MZ icons” in their respective fields, the synergy between the three MCs is expected to blend seamlessly with a star-studded artist lineup that includes P1Harmony, ENHYPEN, and ZEROBASEONE, previewing a ceremony rich in trendiness and spectacle.
The 2nd D Awards, hosted by Sports Donga with upick participating as the naming sponsor, will be held on February 11 at the Hwajeong Gymnasium of Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
