G-DRAGON is once again answering a personal invitation from France’s First Lady, continuing his journey of global goodwill and charitable engagement.
On January 14, Galaxy Corporation announced that G-DRAGON will take the stage on January 22 (local time) at La Défense Arena in Paris for Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes, a charity event dedicated to supporting children’s hospitals and youth mental health care programs.
This marks his second consecutive year of participation, making him the only Korean artist ever to be invited to the gala two years in a row. The invitation was personally extended by Brigitte Macron, First Lady of France and chairwoman of the hospital foundation behind the campaign. She proposed G-DRAGON’s participation as part of efforts to raise funds for pediatric hospital construction and adolescent mental health support, and the artist reportedly accepted without hesitation after resonating deeply with the purpose of the event.
The venue itself carries special meaning. La Défense Arena is where G-DRAGON recently captivated nearly 29,000 fans during his “[Übermensch]” world tour concert in Paris. Transforming the energy of a massive concert stage into a platform for charity underscores both his global presence and his commitment to using his influence for positive social impact.
The gala performance will be broadcast nationwide in France on January 30 through the public television network France2, allowing viewers across the country to witness the event’s message of solidarity and compassion.
Meanwhile, G-DRAGON will also reconnect with fans in Korea. From February 6 to 8, he will hold his first-ever solo fan meeting, “2026 G-DRAGON FAM MEETING,” at the KSPO DOME in Seoul’s Olympic Park, marking another milestone in his career.
