The competition on “Active Singer 3” has reached a breaking point, as Bin Yeseo and Hongja are pushed into an unavoidable cliff-edge battle in the first main round, sending tension levels soaring among viewers.
Episode 2 of the program recorded a peak minute rating of 10.3 percent, according to Nielsen Korea, surpassing double digits. The show ranked No. 1 across terrestrial, general programming, and cable channels in its time slot, and also topped all Tuesday entertainment programs.
The program further proved its buzz by entering the Top 3 in the non-drama search response rankings for the fourth week of December, as announced by K-content analytics firm Good Data Corporation. It also ranked No. 4 in the TV non-drama buzz index on the official platform FUNdex.
In Episode 3, airing tonight (January 6) at 9:50 p.m., the first main round begins with a “one-on-one on-site nomination battle.” Both Bin Yeseo and Hongja are seen shedding tears just before taking the stage, openly expressing the extreme pressure they feel.
Ahead of her performance, Bin Yeseo confessed, “Among the teenagers, I was the only one who didn’t receive an all-in vote, and that really hurt,” candidly revealing her feelings after receiving a score of nine points during the preliminary round. She added, “I came with more venom inside,” and stepped onto the stage fully determined to give everything she had. However, immediately after the performance, her emotions erupted and she broke down in tears.
An even more shocking moment followed during the judges’ evaluation. Master judge Park Hyun-bin stunned the现场 by stating, “Bin Yeseo has no potential for growth at all.” Attention is now focused on whether Bin Yeseo can survive this brutal first main round.

The production team stated, “‘Active Singer 3’ is a jungle of professionals where strong contenders collide head-on. No one can predict the outcome.” They added, “Even Bin Yeseo and Hongja, whose previous stage videos saw explosive view counts, cannot avoid moments of crisis. Please look forward to an even harsher Episode 3.”
