JYP Entertainment’s rookie group NEXZ is set to soar in 2026, shedding the image of newcomers as they announce their first Asia tour and arena-level performances.
On January 1, JYP Entertainment released the video “NEXZ ‘NEXTEP 2026’” via its official SNS channels.
The video features dynamic editing that rapidly shifts between various spaces such as roads, hallways, rooms, and airplanes. The energetic visual language reflects the direction of NEXZ’s activities, which are expected to expand even further in the new year.
According to the video, NEXZ plans to release new albums for global and Japanese markets this year, alongside a series of offline activities including their first Asia tour, a special arena tour in Japan, and their second official fan meeting in Korea.
The plans also include diversified IP-based projects such as pop-up stores and collaborations featuring the members’ character line “NEXZOO,” original Japanese broadcasts, signature performance content titled “NEXZ Archive,” and original relationship-focused content.
These new projects underscore the group’s determination to build on the momentum they established last year, when they topped major domestic charts with their second mini album “O-RLY?” and third mini album “Beat-Boxer,” and swept trophies at major award ceremonies including “ASEA 2025,” “2025 TMA,” “2025 KGMA,” and the “10th Anniversary AAA 2025.”
Meanwhile, NEXZ will take their first step into 2026 with the special concert “ONE BEAT,” beginning on January 3 in Taipei, followed by performances in Macau on January 17 and 18.
