The rising all-rounder group POW marked the holiday season by sharing a special musical gift with fans, adding warmth to the year’s end.
On December 24, POW (Yorch, Hyunbin, Jungbin, Dongyeon, and Hong) released a cover video of the Christmas carol “Mistletoe” via its official social media channels. Blending the group’s signature warmth with a cozy winter mood, the video quickly drew enthusiastic reactions from fans.
The video opens with Yorch gently unwrapping a gift box, from which the word “Mistletoe” appears, before the members take turns filling the screen with sweet, polished vocals. Warm lighting, an intimate visual composition, and the members’ more mature tones combined to create a festive atmosphere, prompting comments likening their voices to “honey.”
The group’s natural harmonies, in particular, amplified the excitement and warmth characteristic of a Christmas carol, earning praise for showcasing the height of POW’s signature winter sensibility.
Throughout the year, POW strengthened its image as a versatile, growth-oriented group through four releases, including “Gimme Love,” “Always There,” “Being Tender,” and “Wall Flowers.” Even during breaks between promotions, the group’s songs continued to gain renewed attention on domestic and international charts, highlighting its potential as a long-running act. Against this backdrop, the carol cover stood out as meaningful content that further deepened POW’s emotional bond with fans.
Grid Entertainment explained that the cover was prepared as a small Christmas gift to thank fans for their support throughout the year, adding that the members poured their heartfelt desire to convey warmth into the project.
Meanwhile, POW has begun preparing for its next comeback following the conclusion of promotions for “Wall Flowers,” closing the year by delivering a memorable holiday gift through the “Mistletoe” cover.
