MONSTA X member Joohoney has begun heating up anticipation for his solo comeback by revealing a powerful boxer-inspired transformation.
On December 27, Starship Entertainment released the first concept photo for Joohoney’s second mini album “光 (INSANITY)” through its official social media channels.
In the newly unveiled images, Joohoney captivates attention as a boxer who appears to have just finished a match in the ring. Facial bruises, taped fingers, and his rugged appearance emphasize an intense atmosphere, while moments of striking a sandbag or taking a brief rest heighten the sense of immersion.
In particular, Joohoney’s raw and instinctive presence on a carpet marked with the character “光” visually interprets the album title’s dual meaning, encompassing both “狂,” symbolizing madness, and “光,” meaning light.
The upcoming mini album “光 (INSANITY)” features a total of seven tracks, including the title song “STING.” Following his solo debut album, Joohoney once again took charge of producing all tracks, signaling his further growth as a versatile all-round artist.
Meanwhile, Joohoney’s second mini album “光 (INSANITY)” is set for release on January 5 at 6 p.m. KST across major online music platforms.
