Seventeen’s 10th Anniversary Confirms Their Status as a K-pop Super IP

SEVENTEEN marked their 10th debut anniversary this year by reaffirming their standing as one of K-pop’s leading groups, delivering major achievements across global charts and the live concert market.

According to Pledis Entertainment on December 26, SEVENTEEN demonstrated meaningful growth throughout their milestone year through a wide-ranging slate of activities, including entries on major Billboard charts, large-scale world tours, and diverse unit projects.

Their performance across global charts and concert metrics stood out in particular. In the recently released “2025 Billboard K-pop Artist 100,” all members of SEVENTEEN ranked consecutively from No. 1 through No. 13, setting a rare and symbolic record.

In addition, SEVENTEEN entered Billboard’s main charts with their fifth full-length album and its title track, while staging a total of 38 concerts across major cities worldwide. Combined online and offline attendance reached 1.26 million, underscoring the group’s formidable ticket power. This momentum also contributed to HYBE’s entry into the Billboard Year-End Boxscore “Top Promoters” Big 4.

Another landmark moment followed in May, when SEVENTEEN became the first K-pop act to hold a solo performance on Seoul’s Jamsu Bridge. Their special event, titled “B-DAY PARTY,” drew approximately 206,000 people across the venue and surrounding Banpo Hangang Park area, while a global livestream connected fans from 193 regions worldwide.

SEVENTEEN also broadened their musical scope throughout the year. Alongside full-group releases, the group actively pursued unit projects including BSS, Hoshi X Woozi, and S.Coups X Mingyu. Each unit recorded meaningful results, ranging from No. 1 placements on digital charts to sold-out fan concerts and new first-week sales records, further expanding the group’s overall reach.

The group’s momentum is set to continue into next year. On January 12, the DK X Seungkwan unit will release its first mini album, “Soyagok (Serenade),” followed by a stadium tour spanning four Asian cities between February and March. As SEVENTEEN moves beyond their 10th anniversary into a new chapter, their sustained career high signals an enduring growth trajectory still very much in progress.
