On December 24, the final Episodes 7 and 8 of the Disney+ original series Are You Sure?! Season 2 were released. The episodes captured the conclusion of the duo’s 12-day friendship trip in Da Nang, Vietnam, a city known for its dazzling night views. After leaving behind the romance of Switzerland, Jimin and Jung Kook arrived in Vietnam and completed the climax of their journey by fully enjoying everything from night markets to various activities without pause.
Jimin drew attention with styling that perfectly matched the resort mood and brought laughter from the very beginning by engaging in playful price negotiations with local vendors. While enjoying activities such as parasailing, Jung Kook energized the atmosphere with his signature honest reactions. Their natural rhythm once again proved the show’s identity as a genuine best-friends travel story.
This week’s episodes also featured a familiar voice. During a game involving listening to keywords, the person connected by phone was Jin. Although the mission ultimately failed, Jin, who was actively promoting at the time, joked, “Come up on stage and sing a song,” prompting warm laughter. Despite the brief call, BTS’s signature strong team chemistry came through clearly.
On the final day of the trip, Jimin and Jung Kook traveled to Hoi An and boarded a traditional wish boat decorated with lanterns. Lighting candles together, they shared a wish, saying, “Let BTS hit it big. Now BTS is going to hit it big.” Calm yet sincere, the moment symbolically reflected BTS’s resolve ahead of their full-group comeback next year.
Reflecting on the journey, Jimin and Jung Kook said, “It was a time when we rediscovered the small happiness we had forgotten. ‘Are You Sure?!’ was always sure.” They added, “We hope you experience a journey as happy as the one we felt,” delivering a warm message to viewers.
“Are You Sure?!” Season 2 follows Jimin and Jung Kook on an unpredictable friendship journey across Switzerland and Vietnam, drawing strong reactions from global fans immediately after its release. According to global OTT ranking site FlixPatrol, the series ranked within the Top 10 viewership charts in six countries and regions, including South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Brazil, shortly after its first episode was released on December 4.
Meanwhile, BTS is preparing for a full-group comeback in the spring of 2026. As their return becomes more tangible, past group tracks and the members’ solo songs are once again gaining attention. RM’s solo second album Right Place, Wrong Person track “Nuts” re-entered the U.S. Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart dated December 27 at No. 2, while “Anpanman,” a track from BTS’s third full-length album LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear’ released in 2018, climbed to the top of the same chart, reaffirming the group’s enduring presence.
